Help us work toward eliminating food insecurity in our communities. Support Minnesota FoodShare's efforts through flexible volunteer opportunities.


Minnesota FoodShare Ambassador

Time commitment:

January - March, 1+ hour/week, as available; April - December, as available

Ambassadors help their community learn and engage with Minnesota FoodShare programs and events, especially March Campaign, by visiting organizations, businesses, schools, faith communities, etc. within Ambassador's community to share Minnesota FoodShare programs.

Ambassadors attend a training session in-person or on-line and receive promotional materials to share with your community. 

 

Administrative volunteer

Time commitment:

as available when needed (support especially needed for March Campaign activities, January - April and July - August)

Assist Minnesota FoodShare staff with a variety of administrative needs, i.e. letter folding, envelop labeling and stuffing, light filing, simple data entry.

Volunteers will be contacted as needs arise.

 

Special events volunteer

Time commitment:

depends on events, as available and when needed (i.e. Walk to End Hunger, March Campaign events, etc.)

Assist Minnesota FoodShare staff with a variety of special events throughout the year. Task vary from preperation work to set up/clean up to on-site registration.

Volunteers will be contacted as needs arise.
